Founded in early 20th century as streetcar suburb, Virginia-Highland is now known as a popular bar and eclectic restaurant scene. The neighborhood is easy to find because it’s named after the intersection of Virginia Ave and North High Avenue. The commercial district lies in the center of the neighborhood that’s famous for bungalows and historic homes from the 1910s-1930s. Anyone in search of English Vernacular Revival, Colonial Revival or English Cottage homes will find them here.
