This charming neighborhood’s sidewalks connect craftsman bungalow-style homes and historic buildings, including Majestic Diner, the Plaza Theatre and the Clermont Hotel. Established between 1905 and 1930, Poncey Highland got its name from its location near the intersection of east/west Ponce de Leon Avenue and north/southwest North Highland Avenue. It is home to lots of historic buildings including the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library. The BeltLine Eastside Trail weaves through this BeltLine neighborhood.
